Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between follow-wallet, kol, and smartmoney?
follow-wallet tracks trades from wallets you personally follow on GMGN. kol and smartmoney track trades from public wallets tagged by the GMGN platform as influencers or profitable traders.
How do I configure the skill?
Run gmgn-cli config --check. If it fails, run gmgn-cli config, provide your API key, and then run gmgn-cli config --apply <KEY>.
What should I do if I receive a 401 or 403 error?
Check for IPv6 connectivity. If your network uses IPv6, you must disable it, as gmgn-cli only supports IPv4.
How do I handle rate limits?
If you receive a 429 error, check the X-RateLimit-Reset header or the reset_at field in the response body to determine when the ban lifts. Do not spam retries, as this can extend the ban.
